Expel has released its latest quarterly threat report, which looks at continued identity-based attacks and the impact of MFA fatigue. Jon Hencinski shares insights on attack trends, gaps in compensating controls and what to look for in pre-ransomware activity.

As vice president of security operations at Expel, Hencinski is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company's security operations center and detection and response engineering. He oversees how Expel recruits, trains and develops security analysts. Hencinski has over a decade of experience in the areas of SOC operations, threat detection and incident response. Prior to Expel, he worked at Mandiant and BAE Systems and was an adjunct professor at The George Washington University.
