Fighting Fraud: Understanding Threat Actors' Techniques

Tips on How to Stay Ahead of the Fraudsters
Robert Villanueva, executive vice president, Q6 Cyber

The fight against fraud requires more than using the right technologies; it requires understanding threat actors' techniques, says Robert Villanueva of Q6 Cyber.

"Many organizations are very reactive to fraud," he says in a video interview with Information Security Media Group. "It is very challenging to be ahead of the fraud because there are so many data breaches occurring on a daily basis. Then there are account takeovers, and the facility to easily move money from bank accounts to apps like Zelle is making it very easy for fraudsters."
